Aboitizland launches Cornerstone
Aboitizland is expanding its business anew with the
launching of a new housing division called Cornerstone
to address the housing needs of the middle-income sector.
The firm, headed by president Andoni Aboitiz, said
the pursuit shows its response to a long-felt need for
shelter and is also in support of the government's effort
to provide better quality homes to more Filipinos.
The launch also marked Cornerstone's partnership with
the government housing sector as represented by Secretary
Michael Defensor, chairman of the Housing and Urban
Development Coordinating Council (HUDCC), and Atty Romero
S. Quimbo, president of the Home Development Mutual
Fund (HDMF).
The company said Cornerstone offers buyers the best
value from their investment by providing good quality
houses in a well-planned, well-managed community at
very affordable prices. The Filipino middle-income earners
are encouraged to invest their hard-earned money into
products which provide them with long-term benefits.
In the launching ceremonies, Quimbo announced its new
lower rates and longer terms. Cornerstone representatives
and Pag-ibig signed a memorandum of agreement for easy
financing packages.
Cornerstone's first project
Cornerstone's first project, Briza, a four-hectare
development in Nangka, Consolacion, will be launched
soon, the company announced.
Aboitizland said there are 231 house and lot units
available through Pag-ibig financing and easy in-house
financing schemes.
It said one of Briza's main features is the Managed
Expansion Program (MEP) where homes are all expandable-which
means houses grow with the family in a well-managed
community that will be of lasting value even to future
generations.
The residential community offers a party hall, basketball
court, children's playground, landscaped entrance, gate
and guardhouse and is also complete with facilities
and utilities such as a perimeter fence, power and water
supply, water tank, cistern, drainage system and a wastewater
treatment facility.
Four house types are offered. Briza's grand launching
will be held sometime in April although inquiries are
now being entertained. For information, [ contact us
